Considered one of United States’ greatest journalist, novelist and short story writers, Ernest Hemingway was a writer with a unique writing style that inspired the awe of many in the 20th century. His adventures inspired and is followed even by modern day people. His career was at its peak between the 1920s and 1950. For his great work, Hemingway was a Literature Nobel Prize in 1954.

At the age of 61, Ernest Hemingway died from a suspected suicide. His wife however claimed that he died by accident and that he was cleaning his shotgun when it happened. In an interview later on, she admitted that he had committed suicide. The causes are suspected to be alcoholism and depression. The incident followed one in which he was hospitalized 3 months earlier after he made an attempt on his life. He was diagnosed to be suffering from hemochromatosis, a condition that causes the physical and mental elements of the body to deteriorate.
