Aaron Swartz

Of all the young talents the world has ever seen, Aaron Swartz was among the most successful. Aaron was a computer programmer, political organizer, internet hacktivist and a writer. He was an innovative and successful individual who took part in the development of modern technology like the RSS and the Markdown, inventions that have revolutionized the world. His education was pretty amazing and for his work, he had received several awards.

In 2013, he was involved in an incident in which he was accused of computer fraud and abuse and was sentenced to 35 years imprisonment and a 1 million dollar fine. For fear of the sentence, Aaron committed suicide at his Brooklyn apartment. The tragic incident took place in January of 2013, 2 days after the computer fraud prosecution. He killed himself by hanging and at the time of death, he was 26 year old. His father spoke to the media saying that the government was responsible for his death and that MIT did nothing to help him out.
