Popular for her literary work, Virginia Woolf was a talented English writer whose work in the 1800s won that adoration of many even in the present day. Mrs. Dalloway, and Orlando: A Biography, To the Lighthouse and A room of One’s Own are some of the work she did that are appreciated even in current time. At the time of her death, Woolf was suffering from severe depression which caused her to commit suicide by drowning herself in the river carrying large stones in her pocket. She committed suicide in March of 1941 and the body was not discovered until after 3 weeks.

Leading to her death, she had revealed that she had trouble in her life and that she was going mad. She also claimed that she was unable to concentrate on her work due to the voices that she heard in her head. Apparently, she dimmed suicide the best option out of her troubles. It has been claimed that she had a bipolar disorder and that she was suffering from mental illness.
