Tony Scott

In the English film directing and production industry, Tony remains to be one of the most successful. Some of the most notable movies that he directed include Days of Thunder, Crimson Tide Beverly Hill Cop and Top Gun. His career lasted long between the years 1969 and 2012. The father of 2 committed suicide in August of 2012 by leaping off Vincent Thomas Bridge. LAPD recovered the body later in the day of the incident. Although he left a note to his family and friends, he never quite gave a reason for his suicide.

His brother later revealed that he had cancer and that the condition had been kept hidden from the public by his family even after his demise. He committed suicide at the age of 68.
