Don Cornelius

A producer of numerous TV shows, Don Cornelius was an American darling TV host. He is the creator of one of the greatest shows known as Soul Train. Many found the show interesting given the music and dancing it featured. Despite the fame and fortune, Don Cornelius took his life by shooting himself in the head in February of 2012.

His son later disclosed that he was suffering great pain caused by multiple daily seizures. It was later revealed that the cause of the seizure was a brain operation that was done on him in 1982. The procedure lasted 21 hours. The procedure is claimed to have formed cognition deformities in the cerebral arteries. He stated that he was not able to stand the pain and suffering he experienced. At the time of his suicide, he was 75 years of age.
