Jonathan Brandis remains one of the most popular of Hollywood’s screen writers, actors and directors. At a very young age, he had become an important figure in Hollywood that won the hearts of many. At the age of 14, Jonathan became pretty famous after playing the lead role in Stephen King’s supernatural horror series IT. Making appearances in several teen magazines, he was a famous individual who was followed by numerous female viewers.

Despite his talent, fortune and fame, Jonathan ended his life in November of 2003. He was only 27 at the time of his death. His friends discovered him and rushed him to the hospital where the doctors tried without success to bring him back. The injuries he suffered from hanging himself claimed his life the following morning. Although no suicide note was found, his friends and close associates intimated that he had been struggling with depression. The main cause of the depression was due to the thought that his career was running downhill. During the last moments of his life, he developed drinking habits and had suicidal intentions to avoid depression.
