Freddie Prinze

A standup comedian and an actor, Freddie Prinze was a darling of many and loved all across the planet. He starred in the 1970 sitcom Chico and the Man. In January of 1977, Freddie committed suicide by shooting himself. The main reasons behind the suicide were drug abuse, marital problems and depression. Although he was taken to the hospital immediately after the gunshot, he was unable to recover from the injury sustained. Unable to stand his suffering anymore, his family pulled the plug on him. At the time of his death, he was only 22 years old.
