She gained a lot of publicity through her reality television series “Keeping up with the Kardashians” which included both her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian. A picture in her Instagram page featured a promotion for the morning sickness medication ‘Diclegis’. This sparked a furious backlash in the online community. The reason for this uproar is because she has posted about how she ‘felt a lot better’ after using the above morning sickness medication. She has also stated the she was happy with the results during her struggle with her second child and she was going to partner with the manufactures’ of Diclegis.

In the picture in her Instagram page you can see Kim with a sport smile holding up the pill stating about her morning sickness. The details stated that her morning sickness has been pretty bad although she changed her lifestyle and diet. She has also stated that the medication was prescribed by the doctor and has stated that studies showed no increased risk to the baby. Feature more she has stated she is excited and happy with the results.

The Drug had been once feared unsafe for use. This was mainly due to the filing of hundreds of lawsuits filed by women who used it claiming the pill caused birth defects. This incident happened three decades ago where the drug was taken off the market. After a various tests and improvements, the pharmaceutical firm which makes the drug, Duchesnay USA, has proved that there is no issue with the drug and it is safe to use. Now the pill has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. However, doctors do not recommend any sort of medication for morning sickness unless a change of daily diet is not sufficient.
