The World’s Best Beaches

Trunk Bay, St. John, USVI

This remains one of the most shot beaches in the Caribbean. Trunk Bay is located in the north-western area of the Virgin Islands National Park. The beach comprises of clear and calm water and an Underwater Trail up to a length of 225 yards. This can be used for superb snorkeling, and hiking trails. It also has a surrounding greenery occupied by the ruins of a historic sugar cane plantations.

 

  • Fraser Island, Queensland, Australia

Australia is well known for its wonderful beaches. This is a stunning colored beach located on Fraser Island. The entire island has been recognized as a World Heritage place because it contains the largest sand island in the world. This golden beach also contains lots of fiery bronze cliffs. Up to 70 different sand colors have been exposed as a result of cliff erosion. This has created a Rainbow Beach as a result of the combination of leached vegetable dyes and iron oxides. You will also find lush rainforest with a variety of native wildlife.

 

  • Lopes Mendes, Ilha Grande, Brazil

Lopes Mendes consists of two miles of deserted, unspoiled, powder-white sand which lead to one of the world’s most crystalline, and clearest waters. You cannot find any restaurant or beach shacks here. What you find instead is a thick, wild sea shrub, squat palms, and almond trees. You can perfectly take a nap beneath these trees.

 

  • Temae and Teavora, Moorea, French Polynesia

Temae and Teavora are two beaches that blend together along the east coast of Moorea. These two beaches have uniquely different features. Teavaro consists of shallow waters protected by a reef. This makes Teavaro an excellent site for snorkeling. Temae has a famous surf break, although it is still safe for swimming off. The beach consists of one of the widest stretches of sand located in all of French Polynesia.

 

  • Long Beach, Koh Phi Phi, Thailand

The Long Beach has an amazing view of the rugged, jungle peaks of the neighboring Phi Phi Leh Island. The beach is great scuba diving. A laid-back vibe adds to the overall fascination of Long Beach. The beach is a wonderfully quiet spot after sunset.

 

  • Praia Mole, Florianopolis, Brazil

Paragliders and other surfers make this beach one of the coolest beaches in the whole of Brazil. The beach can be found 16 kilometers east of Florianopolis town. It has abundant beach bars, cafes, and restaurants. It is always filled with a crowd and refreshingly welcoming to travelers around the world.
