Jamie Clayton

Jamie Clayton is known to many for her role in the Netflix series, Sense8. In the show, she depicts the role of a transgender female political blogger and hacker. What many may not know however is the fact that she is actually transgender. She has always been vocal about issues related to the transgender community expressed her disapproval of the term trans used as a disclaimer. She further stated that transgender people are often misunderstood. Jamie also expressed her belief in the huge impact made by transgender on-screen characters on people’s view of the LGBT community. She says it is a show of love, sexuality and the fact that they are given a chance to work regardless of being trans.
