Andreas Krieger

The German shot putter, Andreas Krieger is another notable name in the transgender list. Biologically born Heidi Krieger, Andreas even competed in the German athletics team. After taking anabolic steroids, Andreas started feeling more of a man than he did woman. He was even attracted to women but maintains that he did not feel like a lesbian. It was not until 1997 that he decided to make the transition. Taking to a gender reassignment procedure, Andreas Krieger currently lives happily as a man.
