Sophia Lamar

Born Enrique Munoz, Sophia Lamar is a transgender nightlife celebrity. She was formerly a club kid and New York based model and actress. Before her 1980 emigration, Sophia was part of the Cuban underground scene. As a model, Sophia has worked on campaigns for brands such as Levi’s Trash and Vaudville as well as NYU School of Medicine Center for AIDS Research. She has also been a pretty successful off-Broadway actress. Sophia has been featured on quite a number of publications. Besides theatre, Sophia has also worked as a regular participant in New York’s Fringe Festival.
