Nancy Kerrigan 

Kerrigan is known to many from the 1994 knee whack that sent her out of the U.S figure skating competition. She was whacked by Tonya Harding, a rival competitor who had planned to attack her with an aim of sabotaging her career. She was a 2-time Olympic medalist in figure skating. Leading to the attack, her career was blossoming and she had bagged various awards in the World Figure Skating Championships and had entered into sponsorship contracts with Reebok and Seiko. She made a recovery and came back with a bang.

Tonya Harding on the other hand had a rough time due to the attack as she had to pay a lot of cash, forfeit her championship and the news on the attack made Nancy more popular.

Nancy departed from professional figure skating in 1994. Since then, she has held performances on ice shows including Halloween on Ice. In 2010 and 2014, she served as Olympic Games correspondent.
