It is the original hit series that had catapulted the actress to success, seeing her win remarkable film roles in films such as Lucky Dog, Freaky Friday and Not Another Celebrity Movie. She was inspired by her childhood that was largely spent in foster care to begin an awareness and funding campaign in New York for foster children.
