A Pile of Tortoises

Not very many people are aware of the existence of desert tortoises. This is probably due to the fact that these animals are extremely hard to come by. They are so rare that they are currently considered an endangered species. They are also not very friendly towards humans which makes them particularly hard to set eyes upon. The residents of Dubai as has been seen from previous photos have exhibited a unique and queer passion for exotic pets. This is a city in which you will see residents petting animals ranging from wildcats such as leopards, cheetahs and tigers to rare reptiles such as desert reptiles. The guy in the following photo has a unique way of showing his love to his pets. He has eight desert tortoises and is stacking them; one on top of the next. The paperwork for keeping such animals costs a fortune, an indication that this fellow has quite a lot of money in the bank.
