Preparing for the Sea

The Middle East is known for its astonishing craftsmanship. In Dubai, the working class residents do not fear getting their hands dirty and handling manual labor. In the following photo, these skillful workers are just beginning their work on the boat. The design of the boat does not stray too far from the iconic Noah’s ark. If at all there are any animals boarding the boat, then there are bound to be several wildcats on board the ark. It is pretty amazing how they are able to build the boat from the skeleton in the photo into something that cruises the sea and weathers tides and waves.
