Ever heard of the term Family Zone? You may be left wondering what this phrase means. Well, just as suggested by the name, a family zone is an area that is especially set aside for families and women. In these restricted areas, single men are not granted entry. Women on the other hand are allowed access into these areas. They can freely roam about as long as they dress modestly and cover themselves. The only men who can roam Family Zones are men who bring along their families. Dubai has Family Zone’s in various facilities. These zones are set up in restaurants, malls and even on the beaches. One of the possible reasons of setting up these zones is to protect women from the prying eyes of young unmarried men.
