Parking Spot

Dubai, being home to some of the richest folk and tourist/shopping destination for wealthy expats, sees a fair share of luxury vehicles. A parking lot can easily be turned into a supercar exhibition with Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris lined up in an exciting fashion on the lot. This parking lot is a little different though. Parked right beside the Mercedes is an odd and traditional mode of transport – a camel. Although it looks out of place between the luxurious vehicles, the camel doesn’t seem to be concerned about being in the wrong place. If at all, it looks pretty comfortable and is really enjoying the break. Whoever parked the camel here must have some serious parking skills. In a way, this odd photo tells a lot about Dubai. It shows how intriguing a blend of old and new, traditional and modern can be. This is something we can only see in Dubai.
