20 of the World’s Scariest Bridges

  •   Hussaini Hanging Bridge, Pakistan

Located in Northern Pakistan, the Hussaini Hanging Bridge is a precarious bridge that constitutes part of the delicate bridges that connect various destinations in the Northern part of the country that is marked with numerous mountains, streams and rivers. The Hussaini Hanging Bridge crosses over the Borit Lake towards the Upper Hunza. The bridge is considered scary for various reasons. For starters, the bridge is very long and high above the lake. It is also poorly maintained, a fact that has resulted in the bridge being both looking bad and lacking in structural integrity. Several planks are missing from the bridge and you have to watch yourself when walking across. The bridge also shakes when it is hit by strong winds, a fact that makes it even a lot scarier. Another scary characteristic of the bridge are the large cracks that reveal tattered planks hanging below the bridge.
