20 of the World’s Scariest Bridges

  •  Canopy Walk Ghana

The Canopy Walk located in Ghana is one of the most unique and outstanding bridges not only in the country, but the continent at large. Nested in the Kakum National Park tropical Jungle, the canopy walk is an essential part of the jungle that treats hikers and tourists to an exceptional experience of the park. The bridge was created as a strategy to boost tourism in the park that was largely ignored. Designed by a Canadian duo, the bridge was tailored to not only  be unique and identifying feature but also a great way of experiencing nature in this otherwise deserted national park. The results were quite amazing as more people started visiting after completion of the bridge. The bridge hangs at 40 feet above the surface, visitors and hikers are treated to an experience of walking through the trees. The bridge that spans a length of 1000 feet is very scary.
