Mindy McCready

Recording a total of 5 popular albums, Mindy McCready was one of the most loved country music singers of the world. She was a great singer whose songs topped not only the American charts but the Billboard country charts as well. Since 2002 however, her songs became gradually uncharted. This was largely attributed to the troubled life she lead and the suicide attempts. In February of 2013, Mindy gave up on life and committed suicide.

She committed suicide at the age of 36 and the suicide was committed at the front porch of her Arkansas home. It was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. In 2005 and 2008, the mother of two had been put to rehab for attempts that she had made on her life. The cause of her suicide is speculated to be due to depression with her family and her life in general. At the time of her death, her kids were in foster care and she had just received a court order stating that they could not be allowed to stay with her. It is said by many that this is what ignited her decision to commit suicide.
